Fee status

I’ve been in uk from 2024. I’m gonna start uni in 2027. I’m currently doing my a level in a state school. Do u reckon if I could get home fee status for uni?

Hey, I’m 17. My nationality is Bangladeshi. I’m in a dependent visa. I moved in June 2024. And yes my course starts in September 2027.

Normally, to be eligible for funding you need to have Indefinite Leave to Remain or Settled Status. Do you expect to get either of these soon?

If not, do you have any UK or EU family members living in the UK at the moment?

My father is expecting to get it in July/august 2027.

Hi eerza, as neither you nor your father would currently hold the required valid status at the start of the academic year start. You would not be eligible for home student funding. Stephen.
