hello! im hoping to join manchester met in 2026 studying pyschology and i was wondering if anyone else is?? im also curious about accomodation because i can commute but i would prefer to live in the accomodation, is anyone else planning on this and where?? i feel nervous about living with strangers and would love to be able to meet them beforehand

I'd recommend you start having a look at our accommodation by viewing this link here: https://www.mmu.ac.uk/study/accommodation. Here you can view all our available accommodation buildings, and find out more about the bookings process and our Accommodation guarantee.

As for meeting people in your accommodation and course, I would highly recommend our Unibuddy Community. If you are a Firm offer holder, you'll receive an invite to join our Community in the Spring time. If you do decide to join, you will be able to speak to fellow students and find people with similar interests, hobbies, as well as those studying the same course or staying in the same halls. Keep an eye out for further emails from us regarding Community in the coming months!

hiiii im going to mmu to study psychology with foundation year! hoping to stay in birley flats as I’ve heard these are the most social, but I haven’t had a link yet to apply for accomodation

If you have chosen Manchester Metropolitan as your firm choice on UCAS, you should be receiving a link to to book accommodation. You should receive your email within 72 hours of accepting our offer as your Firm on UCAS, so if you have yet to receive one, please get in touch with the accommodation team by calling 0161 247 2958, or by emailing [email protected].
