Student Accommodation Dundee or Aberdeen

Ok so I got offers to study Medicine at Dundee and Aberdeen. And biomedical science at Edinburgh. I’m terrified about student accommodation situation like how do I know if my roommates will be nice or not. Like sharing a fridge creeps me out too. Also I wanna obviously have the full uni experience but like not loud loud and getting drunk every day to the point of always being hungover. Also do we get to choose where the accom is? Thank you so much!!

Also should I get accom near the hospital campus or central area??

My son is in Dundee and daughter has an offer for Medicine starting in September. There’s loads of videos online. He stayed in Seabreas (older ones) which are 5 mins from the uni, the others are all on campus except west park which is half way between the uni and Ninewells. IMO bothAberdeen and Dundee are really friendly and they try to match you with like minded people. Dundee - Belmont really central, but can be noisy, Seabraes a bit quieter think Westpark is a bit older but there might be new flats. Think the accommodation form comes out in June so you’ve got a bit of time to consider options!I don’t know much about Aberdeen but I studied there so I have a real soft spot for it. Great city and uni too Congratulations on your offers!
