LIPA application responses?

I applied for LIPA for songwriting and performance back in early December and haven't heard anything since. I've had offers from ICMP London and Liverpool (unconditional) and LCCM which were the other ones I applied to and I may lose my place if I don't accept them soon as its first come first serve. LIPA is my first choice but I know it is extremely competitive and I'm wondering if it will probably just be a no as I've heard nothing about an audition or anything (basically should I give up and play it safe by securing my place)
It is frustrating.
Does anyone know anything about this or have any advice?

They are incredibly slow. My daughter had waitlists from them 2 years running (Acting). Second year she accepted an alternative which she decided was better for her and she preferred anyway. There’s been so many posts over the years re LIPA and communication.
I think they literally wait until they’ve finished all auditions before responding- for acting this could be June/July but guessing they also do for other subjects

Wow, that is super slow. I'm thinking I accept the other uni I want to go to just to be safe. If LIPA ends up saying no, i'll lose both options.
Its very frustrating because I haven't even got an audition there so it's like there is no chance at the moment.

My bf auditioned early this year and they say they will aim to get back to you within 10 working days, its now February

I'm thinking of emailing them about it because it cant hurt if i've heard nothing.
It really just shows how dedicated they're thinking people are if you want to go there-- but I don't think it's worth dropping all of my other options for.
