Lovely. It's a good skill to have. How much experience do you have?

Cool.
The best language to begin with would arguably be Python. It's used globally for a range of things, so it would be great.

Learning the first language is always hard as you also need to learn general programming concepts. Once you've picked up the fundamentals, it's much easier to learn new languages as you only need to learn about the syntax.

LearnPython and CodeAcademy are good starting points.
Do keep me updated on your progress or if you get stuck.

I want to be able to program by myself

Hi there, that is an excellent ambition, and it is a skill that is in very high demand across many industries. If you want to be able to program independently, studying a computing-related course can give you the strong foundation and practical experience you need. At London South Bank University, courses such as BSc Computer Science, BSc Software Engineering, and BSc Computer Systems Engineering are designed to take students from the basics of programming through to advanced software development. These programmes teach key programming languages, problem solving skills, and core computer science principles, while also focusing on real world projects, teamwork, and industry relevant technologies. Throughout your studies, you will receive academic support, access to modern facilities, and opportunities to apply what you learn in practical scenarios, which helps build confidence and independence as a programmer. Graduating from one of these courses can open up a wide range of career opportunities in areas such as software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, and technology innovation, helping to shape a strong and sustainable future in the tech industry.
