UCAS re-application in the same year

My daughter is on an Art Foundation course and has submitted her UCAS application via her current university to universities to studio Arts. She has been sent requests for portfolios but has not submitted them. She does not want to continue with her Art foundation course and has withdrawn hr application from the art universities. She has decided she wants to studio psychology. Can she submit a new application for Psychology via UCAS with her personal email address? It will be passed the Equal Op deadline but is this possible?

Hi, I moved your thread to the UCAS forum where someone will hopefully give you an answer

Your daughter might be able to do this as some courses might still be available after the deadline, and then UCAS Extra and Clearing are a thing. However I'm not too clued up as to how they would work, with your daughter having already applied to a different course, so I hope someone else can advise on your specifics.

Although, I think this is quite a big change of mind so I think it might be worth for your daughter to take her time to decide what she actually wants to study at university - in the sense that maybe she should wait to apply for 2027 entry in order to have time to really think and ponder her options, given the sudden change of heart. Just my two cents anyway!
