Biological Sciences with Management
Hi There,
I received an offer from the Uni of Edinburgh for Bio with Management, I really liked the look of the course but because so few people take it I was struggling to find any reviews of what it is like to study Biology with Business management as well, It could be from other unis as well I know Manchester and imperial offer a similar course, anything is appreciated, thanks!

Hi there, I spent a year at Edinburgh University studying molecular biology, however I actually enjoyed the business modules I took for additional modules a lot more. The biology courses really weren’t for me—I found them dull and quite heavy on Python coding. If you’re applying, just be aware that you’ll need strong Python skills.
However, the Business School at Edinburgh is excellent. I have a friend that is in third year currently studying Biology with Management, and she’s constantly swamped with coursework, so it’s a pretty demanding course.
Honestly, if you get an offer from Imperial or Manchester, I’d recommend going there—it’ll likely be a much stronger overall experience.
