Has anyone used GoAbroadChina to learn Mandarin in Asia?

I did a Mandarin program through GoAbroadChina in Beijing last year and had a mostly great experience. The classes were immersive and the teachers pushed us hard, which really helped my speaking confidence. They also helped with housing and visas, which took a lot of stress off my plate. Honestly, living there and having to use the language every day made a huge difference.

I haven’t used GoAbroadChina specifically, but I studied Mandarin in Shanghai with a similar program, and immersion changed everything for me. From what I’ve heard, GoAbroadChina is legit, but I’d ask about class sizes first big groups can mean less individual attention. Also check if they include cultural outings or language partners because that’s where you really practice outside the classroom.

I looked into their programs but ended up going with a smaller language school because I wanted more tailored lessons. That said, I think GoAbroadChina seems like a decent option, especially if you want logistical support. Just be clear on what your goals are casual learning versus intensive fluency because that’ll help you pick the right program. If you’re self-motivated and want structure and support, it could be worth it.

I seriously considered GoAbroadChina when planning an internship in Asia, and it seems legit from what I researched. The main trade-off looks like cost versus convenience you’re paying for support and placement rather than hunting on your own. If you’re independent and already have contacts, you might not need it. But if it’s your first time abroad, the structure could be worth it.
