feeling lonely in yr 13

I joined a new 6th form in yr 12, and had an established friend group that yr, but at the start of yr 13 that friend group unexpectedly fell apart. I still hang out with one of my friends from that friend group, but she's friends with this other girl and when we all hang out it gets really *****y, and i feel really uncomfortable. I don't really know what to do because I've never really been a loner type, but I'm spending more and more time alone in school and not hanging out with friends out of school and its kind of mentally affecting me. I'm not sure if at this point I should try to join another friend group but there's only 4 months until the end of a levels, and it feels kind of impossible.

These things happen in life. What matters is that who stayed along the way. If you're not comfortable with the other girl, tell your friend about it. And if she already knows then she is an idiot. Its better to communicate openly then letting things bother you mentally and affect you negatively. Don't be sad and DON'T BE DEPRESSED about this, you will find good friends or they will find you. It's not the end of life. Sometimes these moments in life happen to teach us that people come and go, if they don't care enough then why waste your time and energy over them? Your exams are coming, prepare for them and give your best. Don't let this effect your studies. You have got a long way to go. And hey, it will get definitely better. I know you are feeling lonely now but trust me you will find really good friends in life who will value you. But before that, it's important that you value yourself. It maybe hypocritical of me to say this because I also get affected by this stuff. So be your own happines and you will find people who will make you happy.
