Whilst I have no real experience with higher chemistry (I presume you are referring to the Scottish qualification level?), I can recommend as someone on an undergraduate chemistry degree what sort of format to follow:

Abstract:

Write this last. Summarise as briefly as possible what you did and what you found.

Introduction :

Pretty self explanatory.

Experimental/methods section:

What did you do in the experiment? There is no need to identify any glassware you used, but you do need to state what techniques, which reagents and how much of each reagent you used.

Results and discussion:

What were your results and how might you interpret them?

Conclusion:

What were your findings in this experiment? Are there any ways you could improve your experiment?

Appendices:

Here, list your references. You may also wish to provide any calculations you have used or any additional data.

use the sqa course spec for structure but if youre talking about main parts like underlying chemistry and calculations i’d give some background knowledge on sulfur dioxide and/or equation and compare concentration/moles of wine and cider
