Student finance and swapping course

Hi. I’m in my first year. However I’ve found that this course isn’t for me. It’s chickens nursing. However I’ve made a new application and been made an offer for another healthcare course starting in September. If I carry on with this year and finish the year will I still be eligible for finance in September? Or shall I withdraw now before April’s payment?

Hi. It’s midwifery. At a different university.

Hi jenni2010,

You would be eligible for midwifery regardless if you complete the year this year or leave early, as it is a course which is an exception to previous study an equal level qualification rules as long as you are not already registered in that field.
