How to choose between Oxford and Cambridge for postgraduate study (medical science)?

Hi, I am wondering what to look for when choosing between Oxford and Cambridge postgraduate study. I got offers from both, Master in a medical science field, no funding yet. Appreciate any input.

Congratulations.

Here are some factors:

Funding: Have a look at the funding package offered, as it will impact your living conditions.

College allocation: A key part of your university experience would be your College choice. This is because colleges are communities and they are similar but yet different.

Course content: Have a look at the content of your course and whether it aligns with your interests and aspirations. E.g. some courses are preparatory courses for PhD or feeders into specific fields

Teaching and learning method: This may vary due to the course content.

Graduate prospects: Where do grads go after uni

Course length: Some courses are 9 months long while others are 11 months with summer dissertation or project.

Vibe’ of the place: they are both similar unis but Oxford appeals to certain people more than Cambridge.

If you have considered all key factors and they are still tied, I would suggest that you pick Cambridge.

Good luck
