Recommendations for Maths & Stats super curriculars.

Hi, I am quite confused on good super curriculars to talk about in my personal statement for Maths & Stats. Can you please recommend any super curriculars I could talk about?

hiiii whilst i didnt get in this year, i got an interview (literally based on my personal statement as my MAT and predicted grades were subpar)
talk about mathematical research you have done. dont try to find super niche mathematical topics that are just confusing and make you look like you're trying to hard, but even well-known ones linked intricately to your own interests and pursuits make you sound genuinely enthusiastic. for instance, i discussed applications of the fourier series in relation to circadian rhythms, as i am particularly interested in mathematical applications within biology.
talk about mathsy books you have read that may tie in with your own hobbies and personal interests.
i sought mathematical links within everything i do - for instance, i did work experience in a hospital, but linked it to mathematical and computational thinking, and i did a computing/AI research and modelling group project, which also linked back to maths but beyond the curriculum, and also highlighted interest in mathematical applications beyond what you see every day.
dont stress oxford! they are unusual in how they take in interviewees and how they give offers. i was interviewed with predicted grades below the expected minimum and with a pretty bad MAT, alongside a peer with 5A*s predicted and superb MAT results. honestly just give it your best!

it was basically a team project that i did with my school - it took a good 5 months ish but thats because we spread it over a long time and we had to make a proper write up, website, and presentation to go with it. other than that you could probably do a personal research project about your own mathematical/sciencey interests that would pique the interest of an admissions officer 🙂
