Are digital membership cards reliable for student concerts & tournaments?
More people are now using mobile and other digital membership cards for events instead of traditional paper tickets. Digital membership cards use the mobile wallet on your phone to contain your membership/event access information to allow for faster entry and reduced paper waste. Digital membership cards are typically very reliable when used for student concerts/tournaments and operate via either QR codes or dynamic tokens which are validated in real-time. However, reliable use of digital membership cards is dependent on the digital platform/app, network connectivity and also proper setup of the device being used to gain entry. Make sure to charge your phone before going to the event and check that digital scanning is supported at the venue to avoid unexpected problems.
