Hey @MoonChild111

Have you been invited to applicant/offer holder days at either university? If so I’d say go along to them because they give you a good feel for the uni, lets you get advice from actual students who study there and then you can meet lecturers too!

When I went to the offer holder day for the uni i went to i literally fell in love with the campus, and before visiting i wasn't going to put it down as a choice. Visiting can really change your mind and help you realise what university may be a better choice for you.

Alfred a current Law student had written a post about why you should attend these types of events: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7649262

I hope that helps,

Hi @MoonChild111

Congratulations on your offers 🎉 it’s great to hear you’re considering Royal Holloway for Psychology.

Our department has a strong reputation for both teaching and research, with a strong focus on research-led teaching and plenty of opportunities to get hands-on experience through labs and placements. You’ll also be part of a close-knit campus community with lots of support from staff and students.

If you’re still deciding, we’d love to welcome you to one of our offer holder events. It’s the best way to get a feel for what studying Psychology at Royal Holloway is really like. You can find all the details on this page. Our applicant days in particular can really help you decide which environment feels right for you. Whatever you choose, you’ll be in a great position to succeed in Psychology.

If you want to know what it’s like to study in the department in more detail, you can chat online with Rawand to hear more about her experience of the course!

Hope that helps, and let us know if you have any other questions 😊

Best wishes,
Royal Holloway, University of London Official Rep
