Kingston Pharmacy with biopharmaceutics interview

Hi,
I did my interview for pharmacy with biopharmaceutics for Kingston university 3 weeks ago but I still haven’t gotten a response. they said that they aim to respond within 10 working days but it’s been more than that and I’m starting to worry.

Should I contact them or should I just wait?

Hi,

It is a super busy time for admissions, so there are often delays.

However if you do want to get in contact here are some useful contact links ...
Admissions enquire - https://www.kingston.ac.uk/enquire/undergraduate-ksa/
Admissions Contact - https://www.kingston.ac.uk/contact-us/#blockid22719

Good luck! And feel free to ask any questions

Hii,

I applied for Kingston using UCAS extra when it opened on the 26th of Feb I know that if they don’t respond after a certain time the place will open up again so you can put down a diffferent uni. How long would it take for them to get back to me before then as I really want to get in to Kingston. When would you suggest to contact them if they haven’t replied.

Hi @Syd4-jr

I saw on the UCAS website it says there is a 21 day period before you can add another a choice, so maybe it is worth waiting the 21 days? https://www.ucas.com/applying/after-you-apply/types-of-undergraduate-offers/extra-choices

But if you are worried there is really no harm in contacting to find out the status of your application

I hope this helps and good luck!

Hi,

Unfortunately the contents of interviews cannot be discussed due to TSR guidelines.

However one of the other reps did a great post with interview tips that you may find useful
Guide to preparing for midwifery interviews

I have also made a general interview advice post

I hope this helps and good luck

Hi!

I am a first-year pharmacy student at Kingston University! As my fellow rep has mentioned already, we cannot give you specifics on the interview process and questions.

However, I have also just posted a blog that should hopefully help you prepare for the pharmacy interview: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7664177

Please let me know if you have any other questions! And best of luck with your interview! ☺️

Hiya I just had some questions about the mpharm with biopharmaceutics programme at Kingston. What’s the course like? Obviously as it’s kind of new I can’t find much info on it. It would be helpful if u could tell me the cohort size what you need to pass ect. Please let me know.
Thanks

Hi!

It's so great to hear that you're looking at Kingston University for MPharm with Biopharmaceutics!

I am specifically a first-year student of the standard MPharm route (although I did do a foundation year last year!) and not with Biopharmaceutics so I can only tell you as much as I possibly can as we do have many lectures together!
Btw, here is the link to the page on our Kingston University website for extra information: MPharm with Biopharmaceutics

MPharm with Biopharmaceutics is a 5-year course (as opposed to 4-years for the standard MPharm course). For the first 2 years you'll be building a strong base on chemistry and you'll be introduced to pharmacy-focused modules, and you'll have a couple of the same modules as the first-year students of the standard MPharm. Then, in your 3rd year, you'll join the MPharm students in their 2nd year.

Unfortunately, I don't have the cohort number for that specific course. However, when we do have lectures together, we are always usually in a massive lecture hall which holds 304 people, and it does get pretty filled up.

Hopefully that makes sense! Let me know if you have any more questions!
