Residency status changed
Hello,
I have a friend who applied as a migrant worker in January 2026 and has already started the course.
At the beginning of February, she received settled status. Does she need to continue under her original status (migrant worker) or can she now be assessed as a home student?

Hi there. She can now be assessed as a home student. She just has to provide her new settled status share code and confirmation letter/email from the Home office that confirms the date she has been granted the settled status. This can be uploaded to her online account. It's around 7 business days to process currently. Thanks, Leah.
