last year, candidates started receiving call for interview by jan last and feb first week.

given the severe reduction of graduate programs in the humanities in the US, there is a chance that ertegun got more applications this year, thus longer wait time to hear back (if at all!) really scared for the future of humanities overall. as an international student, i appied to ertegun because it feels as though back home in the states, options are being incinerated by the current admin.

It's probably going to be a littler later this year as someone else mentioned. Why did you think it would be today based on last year?

i just looked at the 2025 thread, saw when someone from my subject got their interview offer, and then transposed it to this year (5 mondays after the application deadline). Obvs I know that it's not always the same though!

Some acceptances for humanities subjects on gradcafe though the relevant faculties usually admit in March. I wonder if those are Ertegun interviews/notifications of nomination by departments

I've received an email from my Faculty (Asian and Middle Eastern Studies) saying that I have been nominated. Apparently they've been working on tight schedules and the interview is literally tomorrow...
