Home international fee status? PLEASE HELP

I'm just really confused whether or not I'll be a home or international student. I lived in the UK basically my whole life but had to move for my dad’s job last month while in year 12. Would be an international or lo student and should I check before applying or just apply. If I do check would I check straight from unis or from student finance and what would I need to do. Thanks!
Hiya!

Fee status decisions are a complex process and no uni will be able to tell you this information before you apply. If you email them in advance they will most likely just tell you the same. So my advice would be to just make your uni selections, apply and should you receive offers upload or send any documents they ask for and this will help them make their decision. When your fee status is decided they will contact you. The UKCISA guidance might give you some initial ideas.

Hoping this helps, best of luck!

Student finance only determine your eligibility for funding.

The unis you apply to assess your fee status following the guidance published by UKCISA. Most unis will not review your fee status before receiving a full application, as it is complex and time consuming. In most cases you are best to just apply, wait and see if you get offers and if so, what fee status they have assigned in the first instance. If you believe you are Home fees, unis have a fee reassessment process you can then follow.
