Hi ,

Has anyone heard back from any of the law courses at Strathclyde post deadline date ? Maybe some people know when offers were sent out in previous years ?

Hiya!

If you've not heard yet then try not to overthink/worry too much right now, as there's still plenty of time for you to hear back. Normally we work towards letting as many applicants know the decision on their application by the end of March (although universities do have until mid-May).

The LLB is very competitive for us so it can take the admissions teams longer to make decisions. If you hear of any others who have offers and you've not yet this doesn't mean anything negative for your application. Until you hear back you're still being considered 🙂

Hope this helps a bit, wishing you loads of luck!

Hello! If you receive an offer then the faculty sends info about these out directly to the email address you've used signing up to UCAS so keep a wee eye on your inbox if you're an offer holder! 🙂

Just got a rejection for the LLB. It says because there are too many applications and I have 2 in for Strathclyde. The other is for LLB clinic which is not yet rejected. My worry is I would of had more chance with the standard LLB. I dont think I will be going to Strathy 😪. It was my first choice.

Congrats on your offer. Sorry your friend got a rejection. Do you know what grades they had. One of my friends got an offer on Monday with same grades as me.

Reply 15

Thank you! Both my friend and I were non-contextual applicants. Her grades were AAABB.

Reply 16

Although I have heard of someone else getting in with the exact same grades

Very hard to know if it’s based soley on 4 A’s and B achieved in S5…

Reply 18

Who knows. I have 5As from S5 in English, Maths, Mods, History and Human Bio and am non contextual. Waiting on offers is even worse than waiting on exam results.
