University of Southampton Creative Computing portfolio and requirements

Hi, I've just been give an offer for this course (2026) and am only required to get 88 UCAS points, looking online nobody who's been on the course has had such requirements: https://www.studentcrowd.com/university-of-southampton/creative-computing-bsc-hons-c93892. I'm happy I've been given a offer as I wasn't expecting to be given one, perhaps it is because I am currently doing courses that synergize well with the degree.
However, I am still yet to been asked to provided a portfolio, so I am wondering if that is the more important part of the course. I'm just wondering from anyone who's applied, been accepted or already enrolled in this course or a similar one. The level of quality, quantity etc in there portfolios, as I've never made one before and assuming I need to do this soon. Being honest I can do a wide range of different "creative computing" things such as programming, game dev, 3D modelling, pixel art, digital art, animation etc but I am not particularly above average at any of it - master of none.
So, any advice/tips and when do I typically need to provide the portfolio as I haven't been sent an email or anything yet.
And, did they make a mistake I'm not sure why my entry require is so low, is the course often not full?

Thank you for reading, and any help/replies you send are much apricated.
Nicky

Apologies any bad grammar, writing on my phone.

Edit; after reading the official page of the course. It does mention that a portfolio might not be necessary, the offer I received on UCAS does not mention the word portfolio anywhere. :
Full offer
This offer is subject to you obtaining Merit from the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate RQF in Digital Games Production, Merit from the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate RQF in Information Technology and Grade D from A Level Computer Science

Does that mean I'm good to not make one?
Thank you again for any replies <3
If your going to be in the Winchester campus which I believe I will be at as well maybe we could be friends!!

The best people to ask about this is the university's admissions department. Give them a call and they will give you a definitive answer. Most people here, whilst incredibly helpful, will be guessing.

Hi @blackra1n

Congratulations on your offer, that is amazing news!

I am not a Creative Computing student, but I am a Fine Art student who studies on the Winchester campus, so if you do have any questions about to campus i shall be happy to help 🙂

Unfortunately, I am not trained to give your specific guidance on the need for portfolios and entry requirements. However, you can give us an email on [email protected] to speak to the admissions team who will be able to help you with specific questions.

On the course page, there is information regarding providing portfolios but it is best to check with our admissions team on what exactly you will need.
More information can be found here about the course and applying - https://www.southampton.ac.uk/courses/creative-computing-degree-bsc#apply

I do hope this helps 😃
If you have any further questions, just ask
