    There's no point putting down somewhere that you don't want to go to. Students looking to get A grades will probably not be happy going to an institution accepting straight Cs.
    Choosing an insurance only one grade less than you firm is less redundant than choosing an insurance you don't want to go to.
    If, by your logic. The student with AAA firm and CCC insurance gets AAB or ABB what then happens? They go to a lesser university because they took your advice?

    Now that would be a real coy 'brush my shame under the carpet' moment.

    I do see the conundrum that arises here so I'd rather not get too hostile toward any disagreeing party. Particularly when they do muster said ABB and I'm left well and truly trounced. I'm sure if my indignation requires to be channeled somewhere, I'm probably sending it in the wrong direction.

    But of course, I'd much rather a student mulls over my advice only to reject it as an item of validity, than to not give it a moment's thought full stop. :eek:

    I havent sent in my replies yet but it's probably gonna be Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial (AAA) for my firm choice. My Insurance is gonna be Warwick, Electronic Engineering. (AAB)
