I firmed cardiff met to do healthcare science in september and i was just wondering if theres any accomodation with reasonable parking? I don’t mind paying whatsoever but I don’t think I qualify to get a permit? The only thing i can think of is that I currently live 4 hours away so maybe they’ll let me get the permit that way?

i live 5 hours away and from what ive read your home to uni distance doesnt matter. i think anybody can apply for a permit but if your disabled you get it for free. if i remember correctly, the permits are expensive😭

Im not sure because this is what it says on the website:
„Permits may be issued to students who meet any of the below exceptional circumstances. The annual cost of a student prepay permit is £180 or you can choose to pay and display at the advertised rate.
Exceptional Personal Circumstances: Please include details / supporting information with your application.
Extra-Curricular Academic Activities: Please include details / supporting information with your application.
Distance Travelling to Study on Campus: Please include details / supporting information with your application.”

i took the ‘distance travelling to study’ one as people who will be commuting to campus everyday.
you might be able to get one for exceptional personal circumstances due to your home being so far?
