How much revision do you do per week? If it’s not much then try to up how much you get done in a week, but also consider alternatives for a worst case scenario
I don’t think it’s impossible to pull off AAB but I reckon it’d be really difficult.

Normally what someone on a C level lacks is not content but instead exam technique, so I would say practice your exam technique by doing questions to see why you are not getting the marks. I’m currently on a A* for psychology I learn via Feynman technique the attempt exam qs

What grades do your offers require?

Yes that true. However, clearing would be better than Regent's imo.

Hiya!!

Hey, first of all 4/5 offers already is a huge achievement, especially for Psychology. 🥳 You seem to be doing definitely a lot right, so don’t let current grades knock your confidence. Biggest A-Level tip is to stay positive, but hard-working and consistent.

Going from C C B A A B by June is ambitious but absolutely not impossible, especially in February. The key thing now is strategy, not panic.

1. Understand where your going wrong
At this stage, improvement comes fastest when you work out why you’re getting Cs.

Are you losing marks on AO1 knowledge, AO2 application, or AO3 evaluation?

In Psychology especially (AQA), students often know the content but don’t hit evaluation depth or exam structure.

Ask your teachers for:

A breakdown of your weakest topics

One or two specific grade-target actions per subject (e.g. “add counter-studies" or "link back to the question”).

2. Psychology is your biggest opportunity

Learn model evaluation paragraphs (PEEL)

Memorise a small bank of high-impact studies you can flex across questions

Do timed essays weekly (even just one).

Try and read an A graded psychology paper and understand what they are doing, and what you may be missing

3. Politics: exam technique > more content
For AQA Politics, Cs often come from:

Weak synoptic links

Not directly answering the question wording (especially “extent” / “evaluate”).

I would recommend; planning essays under time pressure, attempting to write perfect introductions + conclusions, even if the middle isn’t flawless and become familiarised with current affairs. Be frequently reading the news.

4. English: protect the B, push for the A
Try aim to producing one strong essay a week + feedback, as it can genuinely lift this to an A. Focus on close reading and analysis, instead of purely just wider themes. And where possible add contextual information.

Best of luck in your studies - I hope this has helped! Fingers crossed for your Durham offer 💜🤞

what were your predicted grades that you applied with? Is the BCC from mocks or official AS exams?
