Fashion Marketing

I need some advice at what university to choose to study fashion marketing, either manchester metropolitan or nottingham trent, i know both are very reputable within the industry i just want some a device on personal experiences and the different opportunities available at each one!

Hiya @jessemilyy ,
If you haven't already done so, Open Days are a great way to speak to current students and tutors and to see for yourself what campus life is like 😁 It may help you make a decision between the two unis. I would also suggest looking into past graduates or placement opportunities that each uni offers, as well as what kind of industry projects and connections they have 😀 Most fashion/ design courses have an instagram page or ArtsThread page you can check out as well.
Are there any particular facilities you would like to use? (eg. photography, filmmaking or printmaking)
Wishing you the best of luck in your decision!

Hi @jessemilyy

It's great to hear you're thinking about studying with us at NTU!

Some great advice above from Zhi En that I'd agree with - if you do get the chance to visit, I would definitely encourage you to do so, especially if you're drawing a comparison before making your choice. We have an open day coming up on Saturday 7th March if you're interested! Personally, I fell in love with the city here in Nottingham. When I graduated from NTU in 2019, I opted to stay and have no regrets. Wherever you study I'd aim to consider the wider city as well; it will be your home for at least the next three years, so you'd want to be somewhere you feel at home and comfortable.

It's important to remember you still have time to consider your options, remember to check against the UCAS key dates calendar here to see how much time you have to make your choice. We have our collection of student stories here, with plenty from Fashion Marketing and Branding, that may be helpful.

If you have any questions for us at all, don't hesitate to get in touch, we're happy to help!
