Cambridge College- St. Edmund’s

I just got allocated to St. Edmunds and unsure how I feel. It a little far out and I can’t tell how the facilities are from their website.
I did an open application, so I didn’t know what to expect.
Does anyone have any insight or is anyone attending October 2026 intake?

I was october 2024, st edmund's is lowkey super underrated. Amazing community and the CR is so well set up it's easily one of the best colleges for mature students. Like all my friends that came to visit me were surprised and eddies became the hang out spot.
It's also perfectly far out, it's not super central so you're not caught up in the middle of all the tourism and it's literally a 5 minute walk to the center of town.
You'll love it.

I’m glad to hear that, I can’t find a lot of people online talking about it. I was a little offended at being called a mature student (being only 22) but I know it’s 21+ and I’m doing postgrad, just makes me feel old!
How was the library facilities? I can only see a picture of the stairs and a big window, but worried it’ll be really cramped.
And how were the links into the city centre? I have restricted mobility so was also worried about that and don’t know enough about the transport etc.
Sorry for all the questions!
