How many hours do you put towards uni work per week? (Poll :))

Poll

How many hours a week do you spend on uni work?

Hi everyone!

To help new students or just those curious I thought we could share how many hours we are all spending on average on uni work each week! This includes lectures, workshops, tutorials, placement as well as non timetabled things like studying, coursework and completing assignments.

I think it could be interesting to see how this differs from different courses and unis and each share our experiences.

For me when I started uni one of my lectures told us we should treat it like a full time job and spend 40 hours a week on uni (including timetabled lectures etc). This really helped me plan my time accordingly, usually spending 5-6 hours per day on uni, including weekends. - For reference I study Fashion Promotion and Communication, which is coursework based.

Can't wait to see your responses

Hi Grace, I love this idea!

Speaking as someone studying Fashion Design in third year, I also do about 40-50 hours a week, doing between 5-6 days at uni, although I do my best to keep it to 5 longer days and keep my weekends free.

Hi @Lillian Falmouth

Thank you for sharing!!

That's a great way to do it with longer days so weekends are free, I need to start doing that!
