Diagnostic radiography in person uni interview

I’ve got in person interview next week for DR, what should I wear that’ll be suitable? I’m a hijabi.

Just wear anything modest and presentable. what's more important is to make sure you are fully prepared for the interview, make sure to practice your answers aloud.

For my Salford interview I wore a trench w a button up and some work pants
Some girls Ik wore suits or abayas
Make sure to look at the unis dresscode
If they don’t have one still dress presentable

Hi,

If there isn’t a specific dress code mentioned, I’d recommend wearing something smart that you feel comfortable in. For example, smart trousers or a long skirt with a blouse or smart top, and a blazer or cardigan if you like.

As a hijabi, a simple, plain hijab in neutral colours works well, and comfortable closed-toe shoes are a good choice, especially as you may be walking around campus.

Hope this helps, good luck with your interview!

Hi @mariams07,

That's amazing that you've received an interview - a huge congratulations! Don't overthink it 🤗Just aim to look professional and feel comfortable - smart clothes, that are practical and neat something that would give a good first impression. The replies above are a great example of what you could wear, smart trousers with a top always is a good shout!

The interviewers are much more focused on what you say and how you come across than what you look like ☺️, so I would recommend spending some time preparing answers and showing your interest in diagnostic radiography.

As long as you look presentable, you'll be absolutely fine! Try to relax (I know it's easier said than done hahaha), but be yourself and show your enthusiasm.

Good Luck - I hope it goes really well for you!
