University of Plymouth optometry interview
Guys I have my interview soon what kinds of questions do they ask.

They ask simple questions like , why optometry , why our uni , what role do optometrists have , what other healthcare workers do optoms work with , do you have any work experience

Tysm for your response. No I haven’t but I do have a good amount of knowledge on it as I have family members that do optometry. So by speaking to them I have learnt a lot and watched videos on it aswell

While we can't speak for Plymouth, and every university is different in how they interview applicants, unis just want to know your understanding of the course and how your skills, qualities and experiences would be great for the role. Have a look through the course page, re-read your personal statement, and think about your future aims and aspirations. It's great to hear you're already watching videos and speaking to family members in the role - you're on the right track! 👍
You can actually check out this handy video with advice for a health-based interview - even though it's not specific for Plymouth, it should provide an idea on how you might prepare and what you might expect.
