sfe application help ( Postgraduate)

i am currently having trouble with an SFE postgraduate application for second funding but now im afraid that im in trouble because during my first funded course i was ill and could not engage further with my studies in 2023. in jan 2024 i attended a new university ( which i applied for second funding with CPR) but it was put on hold by SFE due my previous uni not confirming that i was withdrawn from my first uni. i found this out recently. i asked my first uni what is going on the course has ended and they said i havent been withdrawn. i asked them to backdate the withdrawal and they said they couldnt and that they could only withdraw me when i tell them too (which was jan 2026) and that withdrawal i basically did was informal even though the illness i had incapacitated my ability withdraw at the time i stopped participating. is there anything i can do? im scared now that 2024 application wont be approved and ill be stuck in huge debt at my second university. the illness i had during the first university was Haematemesis which is throwing up and excreting blood at the time

i forgot to mention that the first postgraduate course was only a year jan 23 - nov 23 so i dont understand why i was still in their system

Hi there. They should be using your date of last attendance as the withdrawal date. Unfortunately, this is something you will have to take up with the university as we need them to tell us you withdrew before the start of your current course as the courses cannot overlap in dates. Thanks, Leah.
