Bath Offers 2026

Hi,
I applied to bath to study international politics, just wondering when I might expect them to make a decision?
I’ve heard back from all the other unis I applied to
Hi there 😁

It's great to hear you've applied to study international politics!

As you may know, our international politics degree is very popular, and to make sure every student who joins us has the experience they deserve, the number of places available is unfortunately limited.
We want to recognise the time you have spent on your application and our first priority is that all applicants are treated fairly. This may mean we cannot make decisions for applicants until we have considered everyone who applies by the UCAS equal consideration deadline (14 January 2026).
We know waiting can be stressful - we intend for all applicants to have a decision by the end of March, and in most cases sooner than this.

I know it can be very stressful not having an answer. But the best thing is to keep busy, focus on your A-levels and you'll get a reply soon!

Good luck!

Hi again -

If you do receive an offer from us please keep an eye on your emails for an invite to an offer holder day. You might have already received these from your other unis: Undergraduate offer holder events

These can be a great way to find out more about your course, meet some current students and lecturers as well as have another look around campus, accommodation etc - especially good if you weren't able to come to an open day last year.

We also have an offer holder travel bursary scheme: Applicant travel bursaries - if you meet certain criteria which are listed on the page, we can help up to £150 towards the cost of getting here for the offer holder days.

Best of luck! 🙂
