physio timetable

Hi, I have an offer for Physiotherapy at Oxford brookes in September. I am planning on commuting, as it’s a 30-minute drive. I was just wondering how many days a week I would be in uni, and what the days currently look like.

Hi,

I hope you are well, and congratulations on receiving the offer!

As a commuting student who lives around 25 minutes from campus, I park at the Park & Ride and take the 400 bus. Parking in Oxford is challenging, and students without an approved exceptional circumstance cannot park on campus, so I highly recommend the city bus pass, which is discounted for Oxford Brookes students.

In terms of timetabling, the most I would expect is 4 days a week. This is because most students take 4 modules a semester, but it is very common for students to have two lectures for different modules on the same day, which would reduce the days on campus per week. The easiest way to find out the specifics would be to contact a current physiotherapy student, Benjamin, on Unibuddy (https://www.brookes.ac.uk/study/contact-and-meet-us/chat-to-a-student-ambassador). They can give you the most up-to-date information, first-hand experience of the course, and a sample of their first-year timetable.

Congrats again, and I hope this helps,
Dan
