Wouldn’t know... gradcafe posts seem pretty random, wouldn’t take them entirely at face value. I imagine interviews tend to happen in borderline cases, just to clear a few things up. Maybe also if someone hasn’t been in touch with the proposed supervisor beforehand

Yeah you're right ! I just saw 2 students interviewed on the 9th and 4th of february. Maybe they didn't meet their supervisor before the application? Idk. Did u get an invitation ?

do we not hear back until 8 weeks after the funding deadline or is it 8 weeks after application? i haven't heard any response yet, anyone else?
