Cardiff Uni Midwifery Interview
I have a interview tomorrow for cardiff and i was speaking to someone who said one of their questions was about percentage birth rates and something about culture?? Im just confused because that is not the type of question i would expect/ prepare for.

Hi, I didnt have an interview for Cardiff but i had for other unis for midwifery. I cant tell you what kind of questions they will ask you, but reading a little bit about uk birth rates and culture (e.g different cultural groups across uk) and linking that to pregnancy and midwifery will be a great way to prepare for an interview!! It will definitely help you answer some questions and if you manage to remember any statistics you can use that in your interview as well.
They expect you to know what midwifery is and what it involves, but you will not be expected to know everything. Its about showing your motivation and preparation for the course. Also, just because they asked one person a specific question/they answered in a specific way, doesn’t mean you will have the same question or answer. Dont stress about it, there is no wrong or right answer for most questions.
