As I'm sure you know, it is designed for working professionals and graduates from a wide range of backgrounds who don't necessarily have an undergraduate degree in computer science. It is ideal for those who are looking to transition into a career in computer science.
With the flexible online study, you can fit the programme around your existing work and personal commitments. This would be an ideal option for someone who wants to upskill without putting their life on hold.

Since you will be studying at the University of York, you be obtaining your degree from a Russell Group university. Our Department of Computer Science is highly regarded for graduate outcome, ranking 13th in the UK for graduate prospects (Times Good University Guide 2026).
