Speech and Language Therapy Funding
Good afternoon,
I was looking to apply for an MSc Speech and Language Pre-Registration 2 year course and Manchester Metropolitan University, however I am slightly confused on the funding section. Am I able to apply for Student Finance for a Postgraduate Course as well as meet the criteria for the NHS Training Grant, or would one override the other? Any help would be much appreciated thank you!

Hi, yes you can do both - I'm on the MSc at the moment and have the full Postgraduate student loan and maintenance loan, as well as the NHS Learning Support Fund which is £5,000 per year. You can also apply for extra NHS funding if you are a parent, and for the difference between your journey to university and your journey to placement, once you start placement.
