As in, for starting next academic year in September 2026? Yes but the main deadline to apply has come and gone and so you probably won't be able to apply (depending on whether if the course/uni you want is currently accepting applications)

If you mean next calendar year, so 2027, then the answer is no, and it won't be open for a long while yet.

Hey there,

Yes, applications are open to apply for next year at London South Bank University.

If you are applying for September 2026 entry, you can submit your application through UCAS during this current cycle. It is always a good idea to apply earlier rather than later, especially for popular courses, as it gives you more time to prepare, attend offer holder events, and sort out accommodation and student finance.

If you are unsure about anything in the process, such as entry requirements or your personal statement, our admissions team is happy to guide you. You can find their contact details here https://www.lsbu.ac.uk/contact-us.

You are very welcome to come and check out London South Bank University and see what student life is like. It is one thing reading about a course online, but it is completely different walking around campus and picturing yourself here. We have a Southwark Open Day on Saturday 21st March 2026 where you can meet lecturers, explore the facilities, and get clear answers about courses and support (https://www.lsbu.ac.uk/study/study-at-lsbu/open-days). If you cannot make it for an open day, you can book a campus tour on a day that suits you (https://www.lsbu.ac.uk/study/study-at-lsbu/open-days). You can also chat with our current students on Unibuddy to hear their experiences and ask your questions directly (https://www.lsbu.ac.uk/student-life/chat).
