Which uni?

Hello,
I got into Uni of Liverpool, Southampton & Exeter for international relations.
I was wondering which should I firm?
Does anyone have any insight of the campuses/course/recommendations

Greatly appreciated

Hello!

It’s great that you’re considering firming the University of Southampton! I’m currently in my third and final year studying Geography BA, so while I don’t study International Relations, I can share some insight into student life!

I believe International Relations teaching mainly takes place on Highfield Campus, the uni’s oldest and largest campus. Here you’ll find the Hartley Library, the main University Library, which is also home to the Uni’s Archives and Special Collections. The library offers many study spaces which are zoned into ‘group’, ‘quiet’ and ‘silent’, and here laptop loans and bookable rooms are also offered.

The Uni also offer a range of services to offer which include:

The Academic Skills Hub - a drop-in service with specialist advisors

The Student Hub - 24/7 student support 365 days a year. They can offer support for wellbeing, finance, exam arrangements and much more.

The Student Disability and Wellbeing Team - offers specialist support, daily drop-ins and counselling.

Careers Services - you can book 1:1 guidance appointments with career practitioners, drop-in services, careers support events, careers fairs - the list really can go on!

Highfield also has the SUSU shop, cafes, food trucks, markets, hairdresser and Stag’s bar. Our newly extended Jubilee Sport and Recreation Centre has recently opened Highfield too - which is very convenient if you’re on campus. The university offers over 350 sports club and societies. I’m part of the rowing and geography society, and would highly recommend joining one as it’s really the best way to have fun and make friends!

The city itself also has a lot to offer! The Common is a large green park found in the middle of Southampton - a personal favourite for picnics and BBQs with friends. Westquay shopping centre in town is a perfect spot for shopping sprees! Southampton also has a lively student nightlife - some personal favourites are Glam Thursdays at Trilogy (which has giveaways) and Sobar Tuesdays (with £1 doubles).

I hope this has helped, and I'm sure another ambassador would be able to give insight into the course itself!
Lucy

It would depend on the grades. If not, Southampton.
