SFE Degree Funding If Attended University Before

Hello, I used up previous SFE funding for a degree I studied back in 2013. However, I am looking to study a further Undergraduate Degree starting in September 2026. The course will likely be Speech and Language Therapy at either Roehampton University or City St George’s University - is this course eligible for full funding under the exemptions list for a second degree? Thank you.

Hi,

can you confirm is the course full time or part time? How long will the course be?

Thanks,
Claire

Thanks, the course at City St George’s University is showing as an exception, so we'll disregard your previous study.

However, the one at Roehampton isn't. Just to clarify, neither universities have confirmed their courses for the upcoming 2026/27 year, so it's possible the course will be added later on. It may be worth asking Roehampton directly if that course will be an exception in 2026/27, just to make sure.

Thanks, Graeme
