Getting HSPS Cambridge means there has to be some semblance of social/poli sci in your personal statement, and that detracts from the quality of your law application to LSE. The LNAT score is also not that great, so I'd say low to medium chances.

Hi,

First of all, congratulations on the offers for Cambridge HSPS and Warwick Law. That alone indicates that your application is very strong. Regarding your profile for the LSE Law program, you are definitely a competitive candidate.

Your predicted grades of A*AA in essay-based subjects such as English Literature and History are very well matched to what the LSE is looking for. Your GCSE profile is solid, particularly when considered in the context of your school’s pass rate. LSE does take contextual data seriously, and being a young carer, FSM eligible, from a deprived area, and an LSE Springboard participant will all be taken into account positively.

The LNAT score of 20 is slightly below LSE’s typical average, which is often mid twenties, so that may make the application more competitive. However, the LNAT is only one component of the decision. Your contextual background, strong personal statement, strong reference, and the fact that you have secured offers from Cambridge and Warwick all signal academic ability and potential.

Overall, you have a realistic chance. LSE Law is extremely competitive, but your application is credible and well supported by both academic achievement and context.

Regardless of the outcome, you are already in a very strong position.

Kind regards,

Faith

No idea, i talked about world conflicts and international law, then theories on the roles of law and morality/ religion and law. It worked for cambridge hsps and warwick law so far!
