just got my LNAT score of 22 for this year 🙁 uofg law is my top choice, i have finished school with 6As and 3Bs ,combination advanced and higher and have 3 previous work expierence placements amongst extra and supercurriculars; im also non contextual. is there even a slight chance of me getting an offer anymore based on this?any advice or help would be appreciated 🫶

The cutoff last year was 18, I think 22 is exactly average for a Glasgow offer holder. You should be fine! Don't worry I got 17/42 so you're in a better position than me.. :smile:

Hold out hope! I know someone in the year above me last year got in with 18. Luckily, Edinburgh was always kinda my first choice so I could move out. just annoying tbh that I am probs gonna get rejected from glasgow as it would give me the option to stay home if i changed my mind

if you are contextual i’d say 17 is still a decent chance at an offer for glasgow!! especially if edinburgh is your first choice, i know they are very reasonable with their contextual offers for law anyways at edinburgh🫶

Hi!

This might be helpful for you;

Essentially, the university does not automatically use the cut off score if the applicant has strong academic performance in other aspects, and may also look at the essay portion as a guide to help them.

I’m currently a first year at Glasgow, I’ve met a good few people who had “low” LNAT scores, like 17 etc. So it seems to me to be a guide rather than a strictly enforced rule, so don’t worry!

Best of luck :smile:

nope

Most people I know got offers at the end of March last year for Scots Law. Not sure how reliable it is but saw on this forum that Glasgow aim to get most offers back by March 30th (before offer holder day on March 31st). Best of luck everyone!

Girl idk i got a 29 and i still havent heard back

Trust 29 is a very very good score and if you meet the requirements of AAAAB, I don’t see why you wouldn’t get an offer. Everyone I know who has got an offer from Glasgow for last year got scores between 23-27 and I know one person with 29 so it puts you in very good stead. If it makes you feel better, I don’t know ANYONE who has heard back from Glasgow yet whether they have straight As, contextual, super high LNAT etc. I know the wait is long but should heard back within the new few weeks. Rooting for you!

Do they change your offer to unconditional if you've met the LNAT score cut off or do you have to firm the conditional offer first?

Was your offer originally conditional depending on satisfactory LNAT but since been changed to unconditional?

I am non contextual and Scottish. I haven't received any offer yet. That's why I am asking if with 19 (LNat) is it possible to get an offer
