What is the point of this thread? Each person will want to apply to his or her own course not because of how (un)competitive it is, but because they actually want to study the subject they've chosen!

I'd say maths might be up there, with the A in every module requirement they've now got.

I thought Imperial doesn't offer a general engineering course.
I mean, one would assume that some engineering departments are more competitive than others.

To see discuss on "why this course is much more competitive than other",
To get a general view on Imperial's competitive courses,
To find out why "some courses are more competitve than other",

Least competitive would be Geology, Geophysics and Petroleum Geoscience.
