Advanced learner loan + Islam
Has anyone ever taken out an advanced learner loan being Muslim? I have heard people take out loans to fund university but I haven't heard of anyone who has taken out an Advanced learner loan for college. Has anyone on here not finished college with traditional A levels and BTECs and went to university with an access course? What does Islam say about Advanced learner loans?
I'd recommend contacting Student Finance England (who as I understand, administer the advanced learner loans - ALLs) to get a better idea of the terms and how the loans are structured. My understanding is the SFE loans for university study are not Sharia compliant and I suspect the ALLs may not be either as I think they have similar funding models.
