MSc Economics for Development at Oxford University - 2026
Hi everyone!
Hope everyone's doing great and hasn't peaked their cortisol by impatiently waiting to hear back from universities. I applied to Oxford for MSc Econ for Dev - Sept 2026 intake around October 2025, and I havent heard back ever since my LORs were submitted around late October 2025. My question is if anybody has applied to Oxford masters programmes, or more precisely, this course? If yes, have you heard back, or are you in the same boat as me. Do you mind also sharing what could the potential next steps be, and when are we likely to hear back?

Hi! I applied for both this course and the MPhil Development Studies - just got rejected from the latter yesterday. They send responses 8-10 weeks after the application deadline, which in the case of the MSc Economics for Development (deadline 24th Jan) should be around late March - early April. Nothing we can do until then but best of luck!

Sorry to hear that☹️ Btw I emailed them and they have said all the decisions would be available on 20th March
