I‘ve received offers from Goldsmiths UOL (for BA Fine art and History of Art + foundation) and Central Saint Martins UAL (for BA Culture curation criticism), currently waiting for UCL’s BFA Fine art
I enjoy creating practically but I also like writing about art, but considering career pathways (with Fine art, i can be an art teacher while with curation, I cannot), it seems as though CSM is not the best choice. However, CSM has a great alumni network (better than Goldsmiths) even though Goldsmiths has a great subject combination.
I find that these two elements are equal in importance to me so I have no idea what to pick. I think if UCL offers me a place then I will go for UCL (alumni network AND great subject), but for now I need to pick an insurance choice from Goldsmiths and CSM.

if you enjoy making art and writing about it, Goldsmiths sounds like the more flexible choice right now. A Fine Art and History of Art combo still keeps curation, criticism, and academia open, but it also lets you properly develop as a practicing artist and keeps teaching as a realistic backup. CSM has an amazing network and strong industry energy, but it narrows you earlier into the curatorial/theory side. Since you said both elements matter equally, I’d lean toward the option that keeps more doors open especially if UCL is still in play as your ideal.
