DILEMMA ALERT!!! LSE or KCL :(

Gang, I know this sounds ludicrous. BUT, I received an offer from LSE three days ago, but because I was so sure I was going to get rejected I put all my faith with KCL (which I had received an offer from a month prior). I'm studying International Relations at both, but LSE has Mandarin on side and a year at Fudan University, Shanghai. Whilst KCL offers a year in Hong Kong. THE PROBLEM, is that I fricking love socialising and at the KCL Open Day and Societies look in, it looked exactly the social life for me. But I've heard LSE can be quite snooty when it comes down to wealth (I am NOT wealthy in any way, shape, or form divas), and online people's experience say the social side is quite poor. Additionally, the KCL accommodation looks MUCH nicer than the LSE accommodation (for the same price...). I'm stuck on what to do because I loved KCL but LSE is such a fantastic offer. Please and thank you help a king out who hates decision making!!!!

Go to lse, you’ll enjoy where ever you go and will find your people at either xx

KCL!! There’s no point going to LSE if it won’t make you as happy as KCL, both in terms of accommodation and socialising, regardless of whether how good the offer is. Both are prestigious, so what matters is how happy they make you!!

My son studied law at LSE but before accepting the offer he talked to a lot of students there. Yes you get very wealthy people but you will find your own group of friends. He had a great experience and was out socialising all the time. LSE students are friends for life. He stayed in Carr Saunders Halls which are very social and even managed an extra year in them by becoming events organiser. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I've not been on here in ages sorry!!! I am crossing my fingers for you king best of luck. My predicted grades are A*, A*, A and my EPQ was an A. GCSE wise I was shocked because I got 9988876665 and got an offer from both. I talked about my volunteering and OpenLearn IR level 1 8 hour course and online studies for extra learning! Anyway started waffling sorry, I really hope you received an offer best of luck )))))

This is definitely reassuring thank you! I've tossed and turned which one I should accept and I'm starting to lean more towards LSE now!!

Thanks so much - still haven't heard from either, but im just tryna distract myself from it now LOL.Those are some really good stats! Are you an international or home applicant? And are you contextual or non-contextual? Of course only answer if you feel comfortable.
And good luck with your dilemma - personally I would pick lse hehe
