With accommodation at glasgow, are first year vet students guaranteed a place at wolfson hall?

When applying for accommodation, you are allowed to choose from a mix of room types and residences and express your preferences. For first year undergraduates, you get 6 preference choices. If Wolfson if your most preferred choice, you can express this. However, they cannot guarantee which accommodation you will be offered due to the limited availability. So you may not end up with your first choice.
For first year accommodation, there is typically a guarantee for getting a place (in one of your preferred choices) in most cases. However, you need to meet the minimum guarantee criteria (new to study at the UofG; and your accommodation application is received by the deadline; and you met your conditions of entry with your status when applying being an Unconditional Firm; and you are a full-year student). There is also a criteria for when you would not be guaranteed a place (e.g. if you live within 1hr commuting distance etc.) I encourage that you ensure the deadlines/conditions line up for you before applying.

I've just inquired this with accommodation services for you. Unfortunately, Wolfson Hall will be closing down this year and is not available for students as part of their accommodation profiles anymore.

Yes I just heard about this as well, so confused. Apparently the building was built out of RAAC so they were worried about safety. Im putting queen margaret as my number 1 how about you?

Yes, will put it as first choice. Any other residence will you consider? The others seem a bit far away.
