Nottingham Trent accommodation help

heyy, I'm thinking of firming ntu for this September and was looking for accommodation.
I think I want to go private, im debating mainly between
goldsmith court
york house

but also trinity square and maybe straits village

my main concern is wanting as many 1st years as possible, and not too expensive

any help and advice would be hugely appreciated, if you have any recommendations for any other accommodation then that would be helpful

thanks so much
Hi @jaat7 ,

It's great to hear you're thinking of making NTU your firm choice for September!

The accommodations you've listed are all really close to City Campus, so being within a short walking distance is a big plus. As they're private halls, you may want to get in touch with the providers to discuss how room allocations take place, but on the whole many, like NTU and UPP halls, group first years together or set specified flats for returning or mature students.

One recommendation I'd give is looking into payment schedules and deposits for each accommodation you're considering. It's often easier to compare based on a cost per week, but when payments fall can make a huge difference, especially if you've got a lot to pay up front before your student finance is released. Our full guide on private accommodation in Nottingham may also help you decide between them, and our Accommodation team can provide tailored advice on all available options should you need it!

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions.
