Group B!

Difficult one to call. I'll be cheering for Claw Viper as the only robot in the entire Pro League that doesn't have some variation on a spinner for a weapon, and they've shown they can do well against those in WC7. Tombstone hits hard, but historically has never taken hits well, so it'll come down to driving and ground game as it so often does. MadCatter always has the potential to pull off big upsets, and Magnitude did well in the FaceOffs, so we should be in for some good fights!
Group C~

Copperhead would be my prediction to win this group, it is an incredibly dangerous drum spinner, and I doubt the driver's single digit age will be a disadvantage. Jackpot is a top tier machine also, with a tricky minibot Ace to go with it. Looks like Cobalt have changed drivers again, Matt Olson was fantastic at the controls of Lucky in the latest World Championship, but this is a very different machine, so that will be interesting. Lastly, entering a clusterbot, effectively two minibots, against three such powerful heavyweights is a risk, but Aren Hill is a great designer with past World Champion credentials to prove it - can't wait to see them in action.
Group D!

End Game is formidable, certainly the most decorated of the bunch, but they have lost to Deathroll in the past! And Deathroll is who I'll be cheering for, always such an entertaining bot to watch. Malice is decent, but horizontal spinners often struggle against verts. Golden Fury is a complete unknown for me - they certainly talk big, but we'll soon find out whether there's anything behind their 'secrets'.
Group E!

WC7 runners up Huge are a tricky machine to deal with, but as the video points out, their opponents know who they're facing long in advance, so I expect we'll see some specifically designed 'anti-Huge' weapon and armour configurations. Bloodsport may not need any changes though, their horizontal spinner is perfectly designed to take out Huge's wheels! Aside from Huge, Minotaur seems like the biggest threat, a great weapon on a virtually unkillable body. I'm rooting for HyperShock, who dare I say *might* be the weakest in this stacked group due to those vulnerable wheels, but the team is great, and Alex's driving is some of the best in the competition.
And lastly, Group F!

At 1 win, 2 losses in the FaceOffs, Orbitron likely has the worst record of all the Pro League teams... but of course the AI company sponsor would want the AI driven robot in the lineup. Of course, they may have improved since, could prove me wrong and win the group, I'm just not sure I want the sport to go down that route. I may like watching machines destroy each other, but the human builders and drivers behind them are just as integral to it for me. Them aside, either Witch Doctor or Ribbot could stand a good chance of winning the entire competition. Switchback is a decent Tier 2 robot, which has improved so much with each new iteration, so I have high hopes for their latest upgrade.

And that is all the groups revealed! I can't wait for this. :excited:

Apparently Claw Viper has dropped out of the BattleBots Pro League, replaced in Group B by stingray-themed spinnerbot Disarray... which means that literally every machine in this competition will have a spinner weapon of some kind. Great for dynamic and exciting fights with big hits, but bad for overall variety and diversity of the sport. Hopefully that won't be the norm going forwards. Still, great to see more of Disarray!
Pro League teams polled on who they think is most likely to win... results were not all that unexpected, despite what the awful video thumbnail suggests, aside from maybe the inclusion of Manta - really looking forward to seeing how they perform in this.
