Funding for Veterinary Science/Med as a second degree
I’m a Scottish student who already holds a three year degree from a Scottish university. I’m looking to go back to university and study in a 5-year Veterinary program, most likely in England.
I’ve read in a few places that SAAS doesn’t give any type of funding or loans for a second degree. However, I’ve also seen that SFE will give a maintenance loan.
Is there any validity to this?

You won't be eligible for funding from SFE as eligibility is based on where you normally live not where you study.
Also, it doesn't look as if SAAS treats vet med as a concession for second degree funding:
